Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary’s rabbit & guinea pig area renovation was chosen by Lauren of Girls Scout Troop 595 as her Gold Award project. What an amazing job she did! Here is the progress of the project! What a transformation! The rescued rabbits and guinea pigs here at Critter Camp are very happy in their new surroundings! I want to do something where I can interact with exotic animals.
A zoologist, an exotic pet veterinarian, working for something like the Discover Channel, or Nat Geo, teaching a subject like zoology, becoming a breeder, finding an exotic animal shelter (like the Big Cat Sanctuary in Tampa, FL) or something like that, or trying a theme park that has exotic animals like Busch Gardens. There aren’t many, but you can find them. I hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!
I want to know what animals an animal trainer can train like dolphins or eagles. Don’t list ordinary pets like dogs or hamsters, just exotic animals.
Most zoo animals are trained to varying extents so:
dolphins*, parrots, whales, elephants*, wolves, lions, tigers, monkeys*, falcons*, eagles*, hawks*, horses, zebra, camel, gazelles, seals*, penguins, otters, emu, ostrich, llama….
* animals that a usually extensively trained.
Im starting an exotic animal farm and Im not sure which animals I should purchase? Any ideas?!?!
Snakes, lotsa lotsa snakes.

I’m trying to find an animal of my own to love and train and show at my work. I work at Stapp’s Circle "S" Ranch, and we are big into exotic animals… I don’t want a primate; they bite too much to have one without having it’s canines pulled and I wouldn’t like having to have my pet’s teeth pulled. I’ve looked at a serval, skunk, or fox.. But can’t decide. What do you all think? Anybody know if coatimundis make good pets?
How about a sugar glider? They are exotic and fun to have. They are marsupials, like a kangaroo. I like exotic pets too, I have 2 sugar gliders, and I am getting a kinkajou soon. A kinkajou is a good exotic pet. They are related to raccoons and coatimundis. Some other good exotic pets are: wallabies, kangaroos, fennec foxes, ocelots, genets, ring tailed cats, bushbabies, possums, flying squirrels, chinchillas, ferrets, rats, degus, hedgehogs, prairie dogs, otters, sloths, pigs, parrots, snakes, lizards, turtles, pacas, munt jac, anteaters, agoutis, porcupines, binturongs, llamas, zebras, camels, bobcats, and lemurs.
