NEVER use MOTH BALLS around cats. They can KILL the cats, if they eat any, or get that stuff on their paws and lick it off. GET RID of the MOTH BALLS ASAP.......

You can put some orange, lemon, or other citrus rinds in your pots, and the cats should leave them alone. The rind won't hurt the cat, but most cats don't like the smell of them.

My cats don't like the smell of Mentholatum, so if I have a place that I don't want them to mess with, I open a jar and set it at that place. One whiff, and they're G O N E.........They don't even stay long enough to taste !!! The smell alone is enough to SHOO them away.

Hope you figure out something to save your plants. I got rid of all of my inside plants, just so I wouldn't have to worry about them anymore. All of my plants are living outside, now....The cats have the inside.............

Good luck .........
References :
50+yrs cats ( 11 indoor, spayed & neutered ) / "issues"

I spray "bitter apple spray" on my plants. That stuff is to deter dogs from chewing but it works for my cats too. i do have to apply it regularly, because it wears off
References :
i have used plastic forks stuck into the dirt handle down tines up, and snappy mouse traps, both have worked well. you will need to use quite a few of each, so there is no space in which he can sit without getting poked in the butt or snapped.
References :
In my outdoor potted plants I put a bunch of small sticks in the dirt around the plant, and that's worked pretty well. I tend to kill indoor plants so I don't have any now, but in the past I've put foil around the plant. I've also heard of putting ConTact paper (the sticky shelf paper) around the plant with the sticky side up.
References :
Try sticking tons toothpicks or chopsticks or Popsicle stick in the pots. Try orange peels, or put foil around the plants.
