My bantam chickens have started laying one egg a day, when does this stop = are there seasons where they stop laying and then start up again? This is the first time I have owned bantams, and I am wondering how may weeks worth of eggs I will get before they stop?
They stop laying for a while in winter but lay most of the year. They will probably lay eggs daily for a few years then once they get a bit old they lay less often.
