Half of the coop is fully enclosed and has a door for the chickens to go out to the other half that is outside. How many chickens would be good in that type of coop? They will be egg laying chickens.

How big are your chickens? If you have the New Jersey long white backed chickens then I would say about 20-30? If you have the sharp tongued red feathered chicken, then sell them to a poultry shop, silly!
