I’m looking for the name of the breed of chickens who have a very fluffy sort of down rather than typical feathers, and beautiful little fluff balls on top of their feet and heads. They may be an Asian breed, I’m not sure.
Thanks!

If I am remembering right I will say they are Bantam Hens. They will lay anything, duck eggs, goose eggs, all the way until they hatch. Once the ducklings or goslings hatch and head to the water the Bantams will run up and down the water screeching for the babies to come out of the water. It is really funny to see.

The all white ones are called "silky". They are so pretty–for a chicken

Sounds like silkies. You can get them in either Bantam or "full-size" chickens. You ought to check out Polish Top Hats, too. I have both, along with crested ducks, which are even cooler.

It sounds like your chickens are Silkie Bantams (smaller size chickens). The Silkies only come in Bantam size and can be either black or white and bearded (feathers under their chin hiding their wattles) or non bearded. These birds if purebred will have mulberry (deep purplish red color) to almost black wattles, combs and face. Their beaks legs and toes will be blue and their earlobes will be light blue. Hope this info. will help you tell weather or not Silkies are what you have. If you have purebreds and you know their age you can show them in Poultry Shows at fairs and *APA Sanctioned Shows.
