I would recommend chocolate. Dessert wines are very sweet so be very careful with the chocolate. If you serve a sweet chocolate wine will not taste as sweet as it should taste.

Try a very pure chocolate. If you have to match food and wine it's ok but I would also suggest to serve the dessert wine as a dessert.
References :
http://www.expertstown.com/dessert-wine/

I have a silly rule of thumb I use for pairing dessert wines - match the color of the wine to the color of the food. It isn't a perfect formula, but it beats flying blind.

These Tawny Port suggestions are based on a little more reality than that (my own personal pairings, particularly at restaurants, but also at dinner parties where I've made the dessert). Though they pretty much fit my rule ;-)

As someone else mentioned - CHOCOLATE, especially bittersweet. Also desserts with dried fruits. Nuts, especially walnuts are great. The only fresh fruit flavors that would work with a tawny are probably apples and pears. So based on those ingredients, you should visit epicurious.com, throw in the ingredients you like in the search and find a spectacular recipe!
References :
Tawny Port is very strong, so just like a wine, you want your dessert to be a bit heavier to match the port. Something rich and probably chocolaty. Tawny port has a bit of a vanilla taste, so anything that has vanilla in it would likely be a good match as well.
