Oh, I think that …
Oh, I think that Tieflings can make for interesting characters, but the one they portrayed in this video is just another stereotyped one. “I’m such a bad demon”. Please, make a character with some personality and stop trying so hard to be evil people.
I just feel that Tieflings and Drows (Drizzet, you bastard) are sooooo over-played.
As for preferred race, its a tie between Changeling and Half-orc.

Actually, I’d say most of the characters in LoTR were at least high level (15+) if not epic. Granted, the wizards weren’t particularly impressive compared to D&D, but even Gandalf took on a balrog (which seems to be what D&D would call a balor demon/tanar’ri) singlehandedly…and won.
And their entire party stood up to armies…and won. :-O Those stunts by Legolas were especially epic (killing an orc with an arrow in hand before shooting it to kill another, the oliphant, etc).
I played a tiefling …
I played a tiefling once in 2nd ed Planescape. But I wasn’t “badass,” I was clever & sneaky, which was hard as nobody trusted tieflings to begin with (& pointed out the hypocrisy in my detractors a lot). But for a long while the other PCs thought I was a member of the Fated & only the DM knew I was actually an Anarchist.
But gnomes & halflings are among my favorite PC races, but then kender (with my own creative touches as opposed to Tas-clones) are my favorite, so I’m kinda weird anyway.
