  • reptilesupermaster09 says:

to be fair a snake …
to be fair a snake that is under 10ft would be a good size for a pet snake, some people keep 25ft anacondas and reticulated pythons in the same sive viv that i would keep a 3ft ball python lol

  • StrangeWorld18 says:

    Anacondas, Rat …
Anacondas, Rat snakes, Burmese pythons, reticulated python, rock pythons… These are just some of the snakes that get much longer than the common boa or red tailed boa constrictor. Boa constrictors are quite small compared to the “large” pet snakes.

    BTW, if you are …
BTW, if you are worried about its size buy a male! They still get large, but significantly smaller then females(males average 6-8 ft). If you need any more info just message me:)

  • RenatoandEric says:

    There has never …
There has never been ANY known case where a boa constrictor killed a person. They just don’t get large enough and generally don’t see us as food. Same goes with your dog. Although a large female might be large enough to kill a small dog, it is more likely that your dog would attack the snake then the snake attack the dog. Make sure to do your research on Boa Constrictors BEFORE buying one! And you gotta be responsible enough to take care of it! :)

  • RenatoandEric says:

    They get 8 ft …
They get 8 ft average. Females get larger then males and can get 8-10 ft. The one in this vid is much larger then average. There are cases of boas reaching up to 14 ft but that is VERY, VERY rare! You do not have to worry about it attacking you as they are generally very tame. Just buy a baby and make sure to handle it often and it will grow to be puppy-dog tame(Although you should always be careful when handling large snakes).

  • python12279 says:

    @thereticulatedone …
@thereticulatedone you wrong the biggest one ever was about 15 feet they get about 8-9 for a large female and 6-7 for a large male. who told you that lie about there size.

If you wanted a baby Boa, I breed them and I could sell you one for cheap, rather than buying one that’s going to cost you more..

  • LiQuiDOwns says:

    boas are generally …
boas are generally very nice to keep, however i would say, if you are afraid of it in its adult size, dont buy one, maybe start smaller if you havnt owned snakes before?
