Superworms don’t NEED to be seperated but if you seperate fully grown ones into their own containers without any food, they pupate and become beetles soon after. Then you can put all the beetles into an egg-laying bin. The beetles like to lay eggs on wood so I put old tree branches I find outside with the beetles.
