Due to the upheaval of recent years, Iraqis have not had many entertainment options within their country.
This left many desperate for a means of escape from their boredom and depression.
But with the security situation slowly improving, many people now are venturing out to the movies, parks and even exotic pet shops.
Al Jazeera’s Rawya Rageh visits one wild animal shop that attracts big crowds in capital Baghdad.

The fourth segment of the Wild In Durham series is a stop at Northwood Exotic Animal Ranch, Seagrave.

This was at a bird rescue, the birds were taken here if they were abused, if the owners shouldn’t of had them or, of they couldn’t have them anymore. It was a lot of fun as you can tell.

Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary’s rabbit & guinea pig area renovation was chosen by Lauren of Girls Scout Troop 595 as her Gold Award project. What an amazing job she did! Here is the progress of the project! What a transformation! The rescued rabbits and guinea pigs here at Critter Camp are very happy in their new surroundings! See the heart shaped bell pepper the guinea pigs chewed on Valentines Day to prove it
