Extreme African exotic animal leopard attack taxidermy

Hi youtube, i just wanted to say a few words about HR669 and the exotic pet ban in B.C. canada. Im from Canada and would like to some day breed Snakes for they are my passion. If you did not know the ban includes Big cats, Pythons, Boas, venomous snakes and poisonous snakes/frogs, or any animal that will have to be imported from various parts of the world. One of the reasons for this ban is the death of Tania Dumstrey soos. she was killed by a captive tiger her house.. Environment Minister Barry Penner said
” any thing that bites , is poisonous or is capable of maiming is likely on the list.” and was also quoted saying ” that the government was acting to protect the public safety.”
An apartment in Vancouver is no place for a 50-kilogram snake, and no one should have a 150-kilo Siberian tiger in their backyard, Penner added.
SPCA official Craig Daniell said his organization was grateful to the government for taking the action, because the banned exotic pets present a handling danger to staff and has created problems for the society, which doesnt have facilities to look after such animals once they have to be seized or are given up by owners.
but what my country and the United States Of America doesn’t see is the underground industry of animal breeders and middle men. i can see the countries put a register law into effect but, banning these animals all together is hurtful to not only the people who posses such creatures but the economy its self. it would like be telling people not to spend their money for the benefit of the country. I think that if the SPCA has a problem then they should find people who like “exotic” animals and who know how to take care of them. Obviously the SPCA and Provicial Government of B.C. do not know how to look after such animals.

Here are 5 facts about animal cruelty:
In many circuses, wild and exotic animals are trained through the use of intimidation and physical abuse. Former circus employees have reported seeing animals beaten, whipped, poked with sharp objects and even burned to force them to learn their routines!
Elephants who perform in circuses are often kept in chains for as long as 23 hours a day from the time they are babies.
More than 15 million warm-blooded animals are used in research every year.
Scientists estimate that 100 species go extinct every day! That’s about one species every 15 minutes.
If you live in Pennsylvania, California, Florida, Rhode Island, Illinois, Virginia, Oregon, New York, New Jersey and Vermont you have the legal right to refuse to participate in dissection in class! In Louisiana, there is a State resolution and in Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland and New Mexico, there are Departments of Education resolutions in place that allow you to refuse to dissect, although it hasnt yet become a law.

These “Three Hamigos” are some of the Roborovski hamsters that Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary took in from the raid on US Global Exotics due to horrific conditions. It was the largest seizure of animals in US history Texas SPCA confiscated 27,000 exotic animals in December after the exotic animal distribution center was raided for numerous violations. Once the SPCA was awarded permanent custody of the animals they placed them with only 30 select sanctuaries and zoos throughout the country. Critter Camp is proud and honored to have received 75 of these precious animals. They are receiving the finest of care here at their new home!
